I love that she sees working at a creative endeavor as a possibility for her future. Positive modeling through hard work and creativity, while doing our best to be present for our kids, is what my husband and I hope to teach them by example. All the best to you in your continued creative endeavors! Well my daughter mostly, the boy is still just a toddler. But as a result, she has a really wide range of things she wants to be when she grows up; a musician like daddy, she's going to "write her own book like mommy", be in a band, AND be a doctor, super hero, and astronaut. Though it's a crazier schedule, sure, ultimately like you say it's so rewarding for them to see us realizing our (non-corporate) dreams. I run into the same thing with my kids.
